Just in time for the country's favorite pastime, the award-winning 3-D Theatricals of Orange County, CA will not only present a rousing revival of the eternally effervescent American Broadway classic Damn Yankees at the historic Plummer Auditorium in Fullerton, CA July 11 - July 27 for eleven performances, but an additional six performances at South Bay's Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center in Redondo Beach, CA August 2 - 10, 2014.

A muscular musical comedy with a Book by George Abbott and Douglass Wallop, and Music and Lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, this 1955, 11-time Tony Award-winning tuner re-tells a centuries old Faustian legend which promises to have fans on the edge of their seats as they enjoy such favorites as "Six Months Out of Every Year," "Shoeless Joe from Hannibal, MO," "A Little Brains, A Little Talent," the eye-popping "Whatever Lola Wants," "Two Lost Souls," and the always-hopeful, feel-good anthem "(You Gotta Have) Heart." The production's official press opening has been set for Saturday, July 12.

THE BIG SHOW

Set in Washington, D.C. during the 1950's and based on a novel by Douglass Wallop novel... married, middle-aged real estate agent Joe Boyd is a long-suffering fan of the Washington Senators. "I'd sell my soul for one long-ball hitter," says Joe. Soon enough... the Devil, disguised as a smooth talking salesman named Mr. Applegate, appears at Joe's door. Applegate offers to turn Joe into a 22-year old phenom called "Joe Hardy..." but all, of course, for a price. Joe must leave his beloved wife Meg, and the rest of his suburban life behind. As the Senators' stats soar, Joe realizes he's losing his wife and his boyish looks and begins searching for a loophole in his contract. Dogged by suspicious sports writer Gloria Thorpe, and tempted by Applegate's sizzling-hot seductress Lola (a charter member of the Home-wreckers Hall of Fame,) will Joe live to regret fulfilling his dreams of baseball glory? That's one helluva question...but we're not telling!
