FACT OR FICTION: The AOJ Story, is a new, original hybrid show written by James Kenneth, opening June 11th , running through June 28th, select nights at the annual Hollywood Fringe Festival. It is presented by the all-new 3... 2.. 1. ON FIRE! Collective and Plus One Productions Los Angeles (POP-LA).

As the company's inaugural offering of the collective, and first original work, it is directed by James Kenneth, and the assistant director is Dan Acor. Director Kenneth promises this is a story you will not want to miss. Half scripted, and half audience suggestion, this true story of a young man's journey through sexual addiction and rebuilding his life will be presented in an up-close and personal unique format, that only Black Box format theatre can deliver.

FACT OR FICTION: The AOJ Story performances take place on June 11th and June 25th at 10:00pm. Additional performances will take place on June 14th, and June 21st at 8:30pm. There will also be a 9:30pm performance on June 28th. The above performances will all take place at the Elephant Space at Theatre Asylum. In addition, there will be two matinee performances at 1pm on June 20th and June 28th, both of which take place at STUDIO/STAGE

Featured in the FACT OR FICTION: The AOJ Story cast are ChocoLat, James Kenneth, Leah Lewandowski, Josh Margulies, James Maple, Christopher Morley, Meghan Nystrom, Terry Opps, Selena O'Sullivan, Sto Strouss, and Jovan Thomas. Victoria Villarreal will also be featured in select performances in the role of Sam.

The world-premiere, FACT OR FICTION: The AOJ Story is sure to resonate in the hearts of many. Based upon a true story, it tells the story of a young man's move from the Midwest to Los Angeles only to fall victim to the allure of California. The play's main character, Scott, must overcome his sexual addiction, and the lies and entrapment of life in which he has set up for himself. His partners, John and Kathryn, fully exploit his struggles, causing him to go in a further downward spiral until he hits rock bottom. 80% real, and 20% "hollywood-dramatazation" FACT OR FICTION: The AOJ Story is a unique theatrical concept. Not only is it scripted and presented with facts throughout, it involves audience suggestion (IMPROV) to tell the story. The conclusion gives you a glimpse of whats to come in the rebirth for Scott, with a special sneak preview of their monthly bread and butter show, 3... 2.. 1. ON FIRE!

Much of the play is set in a theatre-environment itself, and with it, explores themes of homophobia, homosexuality, alcoholism, racism, class, backstabbing, lies and deceit, and trying to find one's true self.
