A Theatre Connection in association with SkyPilot Theatre Company presents the West Coast Premiere of DETECTIVE PARTNER HERO VILLAIN by Brett Neveu. This show is directed by Jonathan Price.

Superheros and crime noir are smashed together in the West Coast Premiere of Brett Neveu's DETECTIVE PARTNER HERO VILLAIN presented by A Theatre Connection and SkyPilot Theatre Company. At it's core, DPHV is an existentialist crisis that asks the big questions about human reliance on religion. As Detective Baker scrambles to find a serial killer, superhero Fantastic Phenomenon doesn't offer his usual help. Baker pursues the clues with help from his partner Warren and super villain Supernova, but is he ready to uncover the truth? A truth that exposes the realities of life and death, and the ultimate consequences of trusting those who tell us to "keep the faith."

According to M. Jarrett Christensen of the Tolucan Times, "DETECTIVE PAERNTER HERO VILLAIN resonates. There is laughter and gasps, but the words and htoughts stay with you, like a cool breeze on a summer day. Recommended." Critic Nancy Bianconi says, "This play has it all...great comedy, sophistication and a thought provoking ending. Bravo to the actors and creative team...this is good theatre!" (www.nohoartsdistrict.com).

Lorenzo Marchessi of The Geek Authority says, "DETECTIVE PARTNER HERO VILLAIN is a living, breathing comic book of mystery and murder- you've got to see this one!" "...this play has an almost 'Twilight Zone' flavor to it." - Lorenzo Marchessi, The Geek Authority
