Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Fronk-en-steen") inherits his family's estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor (pronounced "Eye-gore"), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga, Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. "It's alive!" he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather's. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds. The Mel Brooks' musical retains all of the familiar lunacy that was in the movie. You will still hear all of the iconic lines that you remember. But added to that are songs that will put a tap in your shoe and a laugh in your brain.
This production will be done like a black and white movie, but live.
The show will run October 12 through October 29 with performances on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays starting at 8:00 PM and performances on Sundays starting at 2:30 PM.
