The chaos at the heart of the play begins when Rabbi Huchelman accidentally walks in on the groom and maid of honor an hour before the wedding. The family is in an uproar as the compromised couple try to convince the rattled rabbi that he has become delusional after having sampled the tainted stuffed mushrooms!
