Devlin – The Matador of Magic, Friedberg, Vines and Parrett at The Parlor of Mystery – June 25
Devlin, The Matador of Magic leads and all-star show of magic and comedy on June 25 at the Parlor of Mystery on June 25. The show also features presentations by magicians Steve Friedberg, Jim Vines and host Terry Parrett. The show takes place at the South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst, NY at 7PM.
Devlin is one of the busiest magicians in the business. He has appeared on numerous television shows, headlined in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, traveled the world performing on over 30 different cruise ships and performed for some of the world’s biggest corporations including Phillip Morris, Mobil Oil, Coca-Cola, and IBM and a cadre of celebrities and even a few Mafia Dons. Most recently Devlin was hand-picked to consult and create magic on the first season of Criss Angel’s "Believe" and "Tricked Up" for Spike and A&E television networks.
Jim Vines is an award winning close-up performer. Vines is readying himself for the biggest contest in all of magic, FISM. The contest considered the Olympics of magic takes place every three years. In 2018 it will take place in South Korea. On June 25 you can see an his award-winning competition close-up act, close up, as it is meant to be seen.
Steve Friedberg is a card man who has twice headlined at Hollywood’s world-famous Magic Castle, and has performed at London’s Magic Circle. He’s also a regular attendee at the invitation-only 4F convention, a yearly gathering held outside of Buffalo for 200 of the world’s best close-up magicians.
The evening will be hosted by producer and emcee Terry Parrett. Parrett, is a magician, mentalist, author and professional hypnotist who has performed for audiences all across the country. He lectures for other magicians at conferences in New York, Albuquerque, Tennessee and Toronto and recently finished consulting on the feature film “Splinterheads”.
The Parlor of Mystery’s home is the South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst. It’s the perfect place to experience parlor and close-up magic. It is small black box theatre with comfortable tiered seating for 45. The Parlor of Mystery is one of many productions that take place at the South Shore Theatre Experience, which is located at 315 West Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst. The South Shore Theatre Experience is a non- profit organization that produces original works and theatre classics as well as conducting acting classes & workshops.
