JUGGLER LOU JOHNSON AND MAGICIAN MIKE MAIONE MAKE THE HOLIDAYS EXTRA MAGIC SUNDAY, DECEMBER 29 at 7pmThe week between the holidays is family time, a time for the family to sit and warm by the fire, share a story, and listen to holiday music. Holiday Magic, a winter magic show for the whole family, is just the thing. On Friday, December 29, the Parlor of Mystery will present two of Long Islands foremost family entertainers in a magic show that is perfect for the whole gang. The show features the juggling prowess of Lou Johnson and magic of Mike Maione, two of Long Islands top entertainers who know how to tickle the funny bone on kids of all ages, even Uncle Al, who never smiles. Lou Johnson A graduate of Ringling Bros. & Barnum+ Bailey Clown College, Lou Johnson is a master juggler with thousands of shows under his belt. In addition to juggling, stilt-walking, unicycling, balancing feats, and yo-yo tricks, Lou is an accomplished magician. Look for Lou on TV in commercials for Time Warner, Coca-Cola, and Micromax. Mike Maione Mike Maione is Long Islands silliest magician and best known for family-friendly entertainment. He is one of the originators of the Parlor of Mystery and frequently produces and performs at many Parlor of Mystery shows where his magic has a decidedly more grown-up flavor. Maione also lectures and has created magic props and routines used by magicians around the globe.The Parlor of Mysterys home is the South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst. Its the perfect place to experience parlor and close-up magic. It is a small black box theater with comfortable tiered seating for 40. The Parlor of Mystery is one of many productions that take place at the South Shore Theatre Experience, which is located at 115 South Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst. The South Shore Theatre Experience is a non-profit organization that produces original works and theater classics as well as conducting acting classes & workshops. Parlor of Mystery shows usually take place on the fourth Sunday of every month. with different magicians performing different effects. Tickets for adults are $20 and children under 12 $15. Special family pricing is available. The price for a family of four is only $50. That is a huge savings. And don't worry we don't do a DNA test.
