Adam Slawitsky leads a cast of Cultural Arts Playhouse Vets, seasoned pros and newcomers.Inspired by the farces of ancient Roman playwright Platus, the musical tells the bawdy tale of a slave names Pseudolus in his many attempts to win his freedom by helping his young master to woo the girl next door and how far he will go to achieve that goal. Be prepared to laugh at this silly romp through the streets of ancient Rome that has all the elements of a classic farce, including mistaken identities, witty puns, gags and so much more.Forum has a score of music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book written by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart featuring notable songs such as Comedy Tonight and Everybody Oughta Have a Maid.
