Sunrise Theatre Company presents 1776 at Lynbrook High School on September 28th and 29th. This musical, written by Sherman Edwards and Peter Stone, explores the efforts of John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson as they rally the Second Continental Congress to declare independence. Directed by Giovanni Marine, the cast features Megan Monaghan as John Adams, Calvin Zanetti as Thomas Jefferson, and Gary Tifeld as Franklin, among others. The production runs approximately 2.5 hours, showcasing a pivotal moment in American history.
