The Minstrel Players are proud to present the hilarious
Neil Simon comedy, "Rumors". Charley and Myra Brock are celebrating their tenth anniversary and have invited all their good friends to a party. Chris and Ken Gorman, a legal couple, are the first to arrive. They show up only to find that Myra is missing and Charley has "accidentally" shot himself in the ear. Charley is unconscious and so unable to tell them what happened. Seeing as he's the deputy Mayor of New York, Ken and Chris begin to cover up the situation in hopes of avoiding a scandal. As the rest of the guests arrive--Claire and Len Ganz, Ernie and Cookie Cusack, and Cassie and Glenn Cooper--the story of Charley and Myra's anniversary gone awry grows and develops. "Rumors" will be performed over two weekends on Saturday April 23rd and 30th at 8 pm and Sunday April 24th and May 1st at 3 pm at Houghton Hall- Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 Main Street in scenic Northport Village.
