This is the first show in the inaugural season of TITAN, though the artistic management has three years of acclaimed production history in New York, previously producing under the name Promethean Theatre Company. As Promethean, The Players were known for clear storytelling and young and exciting takes on classical works. As TITAN, the artists will continue this reputation, striding forward in its mission of creating raw, visceral, engaging, intelligent work; making the classics fresh and sexy.

Artistic Director Lenny Banovez chose to launch TITAN with HENRY V because it is “one of the greatest pieces of imagination in the theatre world. Shakespeare asks the audience, seconds into the play, to IMAGINE. We want to challenge the audience to create their own fantastical versions of the ruggEd Battlefields and the opulent courts of England and France.” At TITAN, we put strong focus on Shakespeare’s amazing words, clear storytelling and employing highly skilled actors, to take that journey with the audience, to make the theatre experience engaging and dazzling, without the need for excessive trappings and special effects. “There is nothing more exciting to us than presenting an amazing story. To watch an audience, a New Group of people every night, create an entire WORLD within their mind...it’s amazing to see. The power of their imagination is far greater than anything we could construct with wood and paint.”

TITAN management brings to this exciting new company a multitude of various theatre experiences. Managing Director and Producer Kevin Beebee has served as Company Manager for Broadway and National Touring productions of WICKED, LEGALLY BLONDE, MAMMA MIA!, CURTAINS, and currently working on the new Broadway Musical Comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT. Artistic Director Lenny Banovez is an accomplished actor and director, working with companies across the country – from the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, PCPA Theatrefest, Virginia Shakespeare Festival, and Texas Shakespeare Festival, among numerous others – and of course, in New York, with Hyperion Theatre Project, Promethean Theatre Company, and as a guest artist with NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Associate Artistic Director Laura Frye is also an accomplished actress, regionally, nationally, and internationally.

TITAN has assembled a dynamic cast for HENRY V. Brendan Marshall-Rashid*, fresh off his performance in the Steppenwolf Theater Company's production CLYBOURNE PARK, makes his New York debut as the title role in TITAN's production. TITAN Associate Artistic Director Laura Frye* as the Chorus, Jordan MacArthur as the Dauphin, Duane Allen Robinson* as Exeter, and Garen McRoberts* as Westmoreland head up a stellar cast, which also includes Tristan Coltan*, Andrew Goldwasser, Michael Selkirk*, Susan Maris*, Alexis Black*, John Hicks*, Jake Russo, Jon Sprik, Celeste Moratti, and Celia Ann Smith. The production is directed by Lenny Banovez, with lighting and sound design by Jason Fassl, fight choreography by Alexis Black*, and stage management by Julia Lavault. HENRY V is an approved Equity showcase.
