Tony Award winner John Glover, Amy Aquino, Bill Brochtrup, Mark L. Taylor, and Edward Tournier will star in the world premiere of Jonathan Tolins' Secrets of the Trade, to run March 12-April 20 at Los Angeles' Black Dahlia Theatre. The production, which will open officially on March 15, will be directed by Matt Shakman.

"Andy Lipman, a smart, ambitious kid from Long Island dreams of a career on Broadway and hopes his idol, Martin Kerner, can give it to him. Secrets of the Trade is a hilarious and heartbreaking look at the complications of mentorship and the painful mysteries of a life in the theatre," state press notes.

The creative team includes Craig Siebels (sets), Mike Durst (lights), Joel Spence (sound), and E.B. Brooks (costumes). Shakman's prior directing credits include Orson's Shadow and Nocturne.
