Presley Ryan, Lynn Andrews and George Dvorsky to Lead ANNIE at the Engeman Theater

The John W. Engeman Theater announces the cast and creative team for ANNIE. Performances begin on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 8:00pm and run through Sunday, December 31, 2017.

Leapin' Lizards! The irrepressible comic strip heroine takes center stage in one of the world's best-loved musicals. Based on the popular comic strip, ANNIE has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Featuring book and score by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, ANNIE includes such unforgettable songs as "It's the Hard Knock Life," "Easy Street," "New Deal for Christmas," and the eternal anthem of optimism, "Tomorrow."

ANNIE is Directed and Choreographed by Antoinette DiPietropolo (Engeman Theater: Grease, The Full Monty, Mamma Mia!, Memphis, Miracle on 34th Street, The Producers, A Christmas Story, Evita!, The Music Man, South Pacific, Hairspray, I Love You You're Perfect Now Change and Nunsense. Off Broadway: With Glee. Regional: Annie, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago, Ragtime. National Tour: How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Associate Director/Choreographer for The Big Apple Circus).

The Musical Director is JONathan BrennER (Music Director: The Runaway Clone (NYMF '15), Shelter (NYMF '12); Composer: The Runaway Clone, Sapien-Sapien-Sapien; Pianist: Broadway Sings Concert Series; Music Director (Academic): Broadway Artists Alliance, ApplauseNY).

The Associate Director is Amy Griffin (Director: The Taffetas, SHOUT! (Depot Theatre), I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (White Plains PAC); Performer: Broadway's How the Grinch Stole Christmas).

The Creative Team includes: CHRISTOPHER & Justin Swader (Scenic Design), Kurt Alger (Costume/Wig Design), John Burkland (Lighting Design), Laura Shubert (Sound Design), GAYLE SEAY, SCOTT WOJCIK and Holly Buczek of Wojcik/Seay Casting (Casting Directors), Suzanne Mason (Props Design), and Leila Scandar (Assistant Stage Manager).

ANNIE is produced by RICHARD DOLCE the Engeman Theater's Producing Artistic Director.

King Duckling" - Disney Jr., "Super Wings!" - Sprout), George Dvorsky as Oliver Warbucks (Broadway: The Scarlet Pimpernel, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Passion, Marilyn: An American Fable, The Best Little Whorehouse...; National Tour: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; Off-Broadway: The Fantasticks, Closer Than Ever, Pete 'n' Keely, Dames at Sea, The World Goes Round) and Presley Ryan as Annie (Broadway: Fun Home; NY: How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Cindy Lou Who) at Madison Square Garden; Regional: Beaches at Drury Lane Theatre and Signature Theater; TV: "Orange is the New Black," "Difficult People," "The Sound of Music: Live!").

The cast also features Elizabeth Broadhurst as Grace Farrell, Gina Milo as Lily St. Regis and Jon Peterson as Rooster.

Press Opening is Saturday, November 11th at 8:00pm. ANNIE will play the following performance schedule: Thursdays at 8:00pm, Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays at 3:00pm and 8:00pm, and Sundays at 2:00. Some Wednesday and Sunday evenings are available.
