Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts is proud to announce that its sister venue, The Loading Dock, will welcome special guest celebrity comedian Judy Gold for a one night engagement on Friday, Aug. 10 at 8 p.m. The two-time Emmy winning comedian will be featured on one of two nights of comedy at The Loading Dock, which will begin on Thursday, Aug. 9 at 8 p.m. with Clayton Fletcher (Hulu, Comedy Central, AXS), Justin Silver (CBS, NBC, USA) and Perry Strong (MTV, VH1) and close out with Judy Gold on Friday, Aug. 10 at 8 p.m.

Judy Gold has had her own stand-up comedy specials on HBO, Comedy Central and LOGO. Gold has written and starred in two critically acclaimed Off-Broadway hit shows, The Judy Show - My Life as a Sitcom (Outer Critics Circle Nomination) and 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother (GLAAD Media Award - Outstanding NY Theater, Drama Desk Nomination - Actor). She received rave reviews as Gremio in The Public Theater's all female production of The Taming of The Shrew for Shakespeare in the Park. Gold has appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and has recurring roles on Netflix's Friends From College and TBS' Search Party. She was featured in Woody Allen's Amazon series Crisis In Six Scenes, and also appears on the hit web-series The Other F Word on Amazon Prime. Gold is the winner of two Emmy awards for writing and producing The Rosie O'Donnell Show. She is now the host of the hit podcast, Kill Me Now, on iTunes.

The Loading Dock, which opened in March, is a new popup speakeasy located at Patchogue Theatre (71 East Main Street, Patchogue, N.Y.) that is a "venue within a venue." The industrial-themed speakeasy is set on the main stage of Patchogue Theatre featuring cabaret table seating and its own bar. The Loading Dock showcases intimate performances twice a month in comedy, original music or theater to no more than 150 people. Tickets to shows are sold through Eventbrite on The Loading Dock's new website, LoadingDockPatchogue.com.

Tickets for The Loading Dock's comedy nights (Aug. 9 and 10) are now available online.
