McNeill Art Group will launch a summer exhibition space in Southampton at the Hill Street Gallery. Join us on Saturday June 21st, from 5-8 for the opening reception of Stained with Sweet. The exhibition will feature oil paintings by Perry Burns, neon sculpture and photography by Tapp Francke, abstract and figurative paintings, concrete sculpture and design by Jeff Muhs and textured colored salt paintings by Bettina Werner. The works in the exhibition all embody an inherent beauty, delivering a taste of the sublime pleasure we feel when surrounded with artistry and elegance.
We are pleased to announce McNeill Art Group will also present a selection from The Curated Collection, a New York-based boutique-publishing house specializing in highly curated art and design publications. Spearheaded by founder Patrice Farameh , an expert in luxury and lifestyle book production, The Curated Collection line of limited edition books are both objects d'art and compendiums dedicated to modern cultural movements, exuding a hybrid vigor that could only be produced from a successful union of the two.
While all of the titles are collectible due to their limited run, several have been produced as extreme, one-off limited editions with original art on the book covers, some of which will be on view during the exhibition. The Curated Collection speaks to anyone interested in objects of truth and beauty.
The gallery is located at 40 Hill St., Southampton, NY. The exhibit will be on view from Thursday June 19th, through Monday, July 13th. The gallery is open 10-6 everyday except Tuesday and by appointment. Call 631-838-4843 for more info or email mcneillartgroup@mac.com.
