(MOSTLY) TRUE THINGS Returns to Long Island & Manhattan with Four New Shows

(MOSTLY) TRUE THINGS, the hit Long Island based storytelling show, announces four new performance dates in Long Island and Manhattan. Long Island dates include performances on January 7th, February 25th and March 8th. The show also includes a return to The PIT Loft in Manhattan on February 4th. All performances are hosted by the show's creator, Jude Treder-Wolff who has been featured three times on the ground-breaking storytelling podcast RISK! and has performed at storytelling shows across Long Island and in Manhattan including The PIT and The Moth.

(MOSTLY) TRUE THINGS is a game wrapped in a storytelling show that has played to packed houses in Long Island for the past 2 years and also features a successful teen version of the show. The show branched out to Manhattan in 2016 where it played to packed and enthusiastic houses at The PIT Loft. The storytelling line-up rotates for each show and includes Moth Winners, Award-winning playwrights, and performers from UCB, The PIT, and Second City.

The game is this: one storyteller tells the unvarnished truth, the other 3 include carefully-crafted little white lies. The audience gets to question the storytellers, who can improvise their responses. then vote for the person they think told it straight. With some improvised story-inspired music and songs written for the show by host/creator Jude Treder-Wolff and Wells Hanley. There are prizes involved, if you can believe a thing like that.
