Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!, one of Broadway's top-grossing and longest running shows, will support the fight against breast cancer by joining forces with the Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure for a spring event to benefit the organization.

MAMMA MIA! will dedicate its Wednesday evening, May 5 performance to Komen Greater NYC.

"We are very excited about this partnership with Mamma Mia!," said Komen Greater NYC CEO, Dara Richardson-Heron. "The show is a huge favorite of women - mothers, daughters and girlfriends - the people that our organization serves."

Highlights of the evening will include discounted tickets for the benefit performance, a pink runway leading into the Winter Garden Theatre, special lobby signage in the lobby, an information table with educational materials about breast health and Komen Greater NYC programs and a cast acknowledgement of the special Komen Greater NYC performance, encouraging audience members to learn more about breast health by visiting the educational display.
