Long Island's Tilles Center to Present TheaterWorksUSA's ROSIE REVERE, ENGINEER & FRIENDS  Image

New York: For over 50 years TheaterWorksUSA has presented family-friendly adaptations of celebrated books on stages across the country. This fall, TheaterWorksUSA will be offering its trademark brand of quality entertainment at Long Island's Tilles Center with their new musical Rosie Revere, Engineer & Friends, with a book by Lauren Gunderson, music by Brian Lowdermilk, lyrics by Kait Kerrigan and originally directed by Peter Flynn and choreography by Marcos Santana. The performance will take place on September 15 at 2pm at Tilles Center (Tilles Center is located at LIU Post, 720 Northern Blvd, Brookville NY) Tickets are $25, $15 and can be purchased by calling 516.299.3100 or by visiting tillescenter.org.

Ms. Greer's classroom includes three inquisitive out-of-the-box thinkers. Rosie Revere has big dreams. Iggy Peck has a relentless passion for architecture. And Ada Twist's curiosity can drive her teacher crazy. Rosie Revere, Engineer is a fun new musical based on the books Rosie Revere, Engineer, Iggy Peck, Architect and Ada Twist, Scientist by Andrea Beaty and David Roberts which spotlights the STEM curriculum (focusing on science, technology, engineering and math).

The show is on Saturday, September 15 at 2pm.

TILLES CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS at LIU Post in Brookville, is Long Island's premier concert hall. For 38 years, Tilles Center has been host to more than 70 performances each season by world-renowned artists in music, theater and dance. Tilles Center was the first to bring the New York Philharmonic to Long Island and Bruce Springsteen's legendary "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" was recorded onsite.
