John Tesh to be Honored on Birthday by Nassau County and Town of Hempstead, 7/7

Nassau County Legislator Vincent T. Muscarella and Hempstead Town Officials will honor television legend and music composer John Tesh for his outstanding achievements and charitable contributions. Tesh was born in Garden City and graduated Garden City High School. He is a pianist and composer of pop music and sold over 8 million records. He served the host of the popular television program Entertainment Tonight for over decade. Local fans, friends and residents will be throwing a homecoming and birthday celebration along with local elected officials tomorrow. He started playing the piano at the age of six on Long Island.

Some of his awards include 6 music Emmys and 4 Gold albums. Over 20 million dollars was raised for public television and the arts by John Tesh.
