Bay Street Theatre announces its Second Annual Honors Benefit on Saturday, April 27 at East Hampton Point. This year the honorees are Hampton's Hometown Heroes include David Bray, Ana R. Daniel, Michael Grim and James Osburn. All four of the honorees support Bay Street as well as many other local businesses & non-profits in the Hampton's Community. The event starts with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and buffet followed by the presentation of awards, which will be kicked off by funny lady, Joy Behar, at 8pm.
The cost is $175 per person or $300 per couple. Proceeds support the theatre's year round educational programming. "This year's event will take place in The Hamptons, where we are honoring long time Bay Street supporters David Bray, one of Bay Street's original board members as well as a founding partner of Allan Schneider Associates, Ana R. Daniel, the founding Chairman of our Board of Trustees and Michael Grim and James Osburn, owners of the Bridgehampton Florist, who do so much for us all summer long.
"The passion and commitment that these individuals give to us year after year, we couldn't do it without them," says Mitchell. "This is our way of saying 'thank you!'"
David will be roasted by Cee Brown, Ana by Anthony Newman and Jim and Michael by Monte Matthews and Susan Kohner-Weitz.
