The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport will present Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, part of the TD Bank Youth Theater Series. The production closes on November 6.

When Willy Wonka decides to let five children into the greatest chocolate factory in the world, he releases five golden tickets in chocolate bars, causing complete mayhem. Charlie Bucket finds a golden ticket and is given a tour, along with four other children. Among the other winners are Veruca Salt, a spoiled rich girl; Augustus Gloop, a gluttonous kid who stuffs his face with sweets; Violet Beuregarde, a champion trophy gum chewer; and Mike Teavee, a kid who spends more time watching TV and playing video games than anything else. The tour of the factory will hold more than a few surprises for this bunch as they get a special glimpse of the wonders within.

Charlie And The Chocolate Factory will play the following performance schedule:
Saturdays at 11:00am and Sundays at 10:30am September 24 - November 6, 2011 .
