The John W. Engeman Theater announces the cast and creative team for BUDDY -THE Buddy Holly STORY. Performances begin on Thursday, January 17 and run through Sunday, March 3, 2019.

BUDDY - THE Buddy Holly STORY the true story of Buddy's meteoric rise to fame, from the moment in 1957 when "That'll Be The Day" hit the airwaves until his tragic death less than two years later. The show features over 20 of Buddy Holly's greatest hits including "That'll Be The Day," "Peggy Sue," "Everyday," "Oh Boy," "Not Fade Away," "Rave On" and "Raining In My Heart," plus Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba" and The Big Bopper's "Chantilly Lace." Seen by over 22 million people around the world, THE Buddy Holly STORY will have you on your feet and "send you out of the theater on an unstoppable high" (The Boston Globe).

BUDDY - THE Buddy Holly STORY is produced by RICHARD DOLCE the Engeman Theater's Producing Artistic Director.

BUDDY - THE Buddy Holly STORY is Directed and Choreographed by Keith Andrews (Engeman Theater: The Full Monty; Regional: Flashdance the Musical (Gateway Playhouse - Regional Premiere), The Rocky Horror Show (Regional Premiere), Rock of Ages (Regional Premiere), Saturday Night Fever, The Addams Family, South Pacific, Spamalot, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (starring Joe Piscopo), Sister Act, Shrek, Young Frankenstein, The Drowsy Chaperone).

The Musical Director is Angela C. Howell (NYC Theater: Lucky Stiff - West End Theatre, Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Circle in the Square Theatre School; Regional: Buddy - Westchester Broadway Dinner Theatre & North Carolina Theatre, Yale Summer Series).

The Creative Team includes: JORDAN JANOTA (Scenic Design), Dustin Cross (Costume Design), Doug Harry (Lighting Design), DON HANNA (Sound Design), GAYLE SEAY, SCOTT WOJCIK and Holly Buczek of WOJCIK/SEAY CASTING (Casting Directors), Emily Wright (Props Design), Leila Scandar (Production Stage Manager), Kristie Moschetta (Assistant Stage Manager) and JENNIFER WALSH (Assistant Stage Manager).

BUDDY - THE Buddy Holly STORY will play the following performance schedule: Thursdays at 8:00pm, Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays at 3:00pm and 8:00pm, and Sundays at 2:00pm. Some Wednesday and Sunday evenings are available.
