The John W. Engeman Theater has announced the cast and creative team for the musical adaptation of the iconic holiday classic - A CHRISTMAS STORY - THE MUSICAL. Performances begin tonight, November 20th at 8:00pm and run through January 4, 2015.

A CHRISTMAS STORY is the hilarious account of bespectacled Ralphie's desperate quest to ensure that this most perfect of gifts ends up under his tree for Christmas. Join Ralphie and his family as he navigates though leg lamps, a bully with yellow eyes, bar soap punishments and double dog dares on his way to the perfect Christmas morning. The musical is based on the classic 1983 movie, which itself was based on stories by legendary radio humorist Jean Shepherd, and features funny and heartfelt songs by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul and a faithful yet inventive book by Joseph Robinette.
A CHRISTMAS STORY - THE MUSICAL is directed and produced by Richard T. Dolce, the Engeman Theater's Producing Artistic Director.
