Back by popular demand, Black Nativity returns to Little Rock this Christmas! Acclaimed poet Langston Hughes's Black Nativity is a profoundly moving gospel rendition of the Nativity story, artfully weaving in black traditions, spirituals, gospel music, and dance. This year's production brings to life the nativity story in a fresh and vibrant way, portraying a family's journey as they come together to spend the holidays with their matriarch, who has recently lost her husband - the family's rock and pastor. The story explores themes of grief, healing, and finding stability during the holiday season. This multi-generational tale of reverence and love, accompanied by soul-stirring music and an uplifting message, will undoubtedly captivate audiences of all ages. Featuring songs by Mariah Carey, Kirk Franklin, Kurt Carr, Tori Kelly, and many more! This gloriously joyful noise serves an unforgettable holiday experience!
