The Rep presents To Kill a Mockingbird By Christopher Sergel and Based on the novel by Harper Lee from January 25, 2012 - February 12, 2012.
To Kill a Mockingbird is the winner of the 1961 Pulitzer Prize.
As this compelling story is told through the eyes of Scout, the tomboyish young daughter of small-town lawyer Atticus Finch, it becomes clear that To Kill a Mockingbird is a love story: a father’s love for his children, their love for him, and a love for the South.
The timeless classic compels audiences to take an honest look at the nation’s past and moral responsibility to each other. The fundamental lessons of compassion, justice, integrity and courage are significant and still powerfully relevant today, making this play a must for every new generation.
