Good People, the humor-laced drama by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, will take the stage at TheatreSquared tonight, February 13 - March 9, 2014, directed by T2 co-founder and associate artistic director Amy Herzberg.

Broadway veteran Sean Patrick Reilly (The Spiritualist at T2) and stage-and-film actress Rebecca Harris (Unstoppable, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days) will lead a national professional cast. Set in South Boston, the play follows sharp-tongued single-mom Margie (Harris) as she struggles to make rent, turning at last to old flame Mike (Reilly) who has left his Southie past behind, buried with old secrets.

Tickets range from $15-36 ($10/under 30) and are on sale now via the Walton Arts Center Box Office (479.443.5600) or at theatre2.org.

"Good People is a powerful new play by one of America's most incisive playwrights - at turns suspenseful, funny and frighteningly real," said Herzberg, a 2013 Governor's Arts Award recipient. "The stakes couldn't be higher. The loss of a paycheck could mean the loss of everything to Margie, and desperation leads even good people to dire measures. This is raw and compelling Live Theatre - I'm thrilled to share it with our audience."

Rebecca Harris, an Arkansas native and star of TheatreSquared's inaugural production Bad Dates, returns to Northwest Arkansas to play Margie Walsh. She is joined by Sean Patrick Reilly, whose extensive stage, film and television credits include two Broadway productions and TheatreSquared's The Spiritualist; by Los Angeles actor Shirley Hughes (Sons of the Prophet at T2); by Northwest Arkansas actors Kieran Cronin and Lauren Halyard; and by New York actor Margaret Odette.

The creative team for Good People includes director Amy Herzberg, who also serves as head of performance for the UA Fulbright College Department of Drama; scenic designer Megan Truscott; lighting designer Nathan Scheuer; costume designer Ruby Kemph; sound designer Will Eubanks; properties designer Ginny Headrick; stage manager Joseph Fletcher; assistant stage manager Emily Bohannan; and technical director Josh Tillotson.

Tickets are on sale now at the Walton Arts Center Box Office, and can be reserved by calling (479) 443-5600 or by visiting theatre2.org. Performances are scheduled Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm and 7:30pm. Tickets range from $15 to $36. A limited number of $10 tickets are also available for patrons under the age of 30 through the theatre's "30 Under 30" program. The performance will run two hours one intermission and is recommended for ages 13+ (occasional adult language).

TheatreSquared's locally produced and nationally acclaimed productions reach 22,000 patrons each year. The company is Northwest Arkansas's only year-round professional theatre, offering a unique audience experience in its intimate 175-seat theatre at Walton Arts Center's Nadine Baum Studios. In 2011, TheatreSquared was recognized by the American Theatre Wing, founder of the Tony Awards, as one of the nation's ten most promising emerging theatres.
