TheatreSquared today announced the full cast and creative team for Robert Schenkkan's multi-award-winning epic, All the Way, which broke two box office records in its 2015 Broadway debut and begins performances August 24 in Northwest Arkansas.
In this "sure-fire, action-packed hit" (Huffington Post). Lyndon Baines Johnson, a towering Texan with grand ambitions, finds himself an accidental president after Kennedy's assassination, and vows to do whatever it takes to pass the landmark Civil Rights Act and then win election in his own right. Martin Luther King, Jr., J. Edgar Hoover, George Wallace, Lady Bird Johnson, Hubert Humphrey, and more are portrayed by a professional ensemble of 17 in this acclaimed new drama about determination, back-room politics, and just what it takes to go all the way.

In the two years since its debut, All the Way has won the Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama League Awards, the Kennedy Prize, and Steinberg/ACTA Award for Best Play; broke two Broadway box office records; and has been adapted into an Emmy Award-nominated HBO feature film.
A record-setting cast of 17 will play over 30 characters and includes Auston Ashford, RJ Foster, Samuel Ray Gates, Robert Flaherty Hart, Richard Holden, Bryce Kemph, Elester Latham, Kathy Logelin, Craig Macdonald, Steven Marzolf, Jamey McGaugh, Bill Rogers, Troy Schremmer, Cherene Snow, Justin Stewart, Mitch Tebo, and Kathleen Turco-Lyon.
The lead creative team for All the Way includes scenic designer Michael J. Riha, lighting designer Shawn Irish, projections designer Seagan McKay, Sound Designer Will Eubanks, costume designer Ruby Kemph, properties manager Brodie Jasch, technical director Josh Tillotson, and stage manager David Loranca.
Benny Sato Ambush returns to T2, where he previously directed Look Away. He is Senior Distinguished Producing Director-In-Residence at Emerson College. Regional directing credits include Old Globe Theatre; Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Portland; South Coast Rep; Alabama Shakespeare Festival; Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Arizona Theatre Company; Magic Theatre; Geva Theatre; Playwrights Horizon; Ford's Theatre; Philadelphia Festival Theatre for New Plays; and many others. His leadership roles at arts institutions include producing director of Oakland Ensemble Theatre, associate artistic director of American Conservatory Theatre, and others. He holds a BA from Brown University and an MFA from University of California, San Diego.
Robert Schenkkan is a Pulitzer-prize winning, Tony Award winning, Writer's Guild Award winning, two-time Emmy nominated writer of stage, television, and film. He is the author of fourteen original full-length plays, two musicals, and a collection of one-act plays. He co-wrote the feature film, The Quiet American and Hacksaw Ridge, and his television credits include: All the Way, The Pacific, The Andromeda Strainand Spartacus.
Schenkkan will travel to Fayetteville attend the opening weekend of All the Way. He will also lead two free public events at the Fayetteville Public Library on August 25-a playwriting workshop at 5pm and a public forum at 6:30pm in the Walker Family Community Room. Workshop participation is limited to the first 25 who register; seating for the forum will be first come, first seated.
Presidential scholar Dr. Randall Woods, author of LBJ: Architect of American Ambition (Harvard University Press) and Prisoners of Hope (Basic Books) and a distinguished professor of history at the University of Arkansas, will lead two free public conversations following the 2pm Sunday performances of All the Way onSeptember 4 and September 11. Both conversations will begin in the theatre at 5pmand are free and open to the public.
