Community Theatre of Little Rock Announces Open Auditions for it's Summer Musical "The Great American Trailer Park Musical", Words and Music by David Nehls and Book by Betsy Kelso

Auditions will be held on Saturday, June 4th at 2:00 pm and Sunday, June 5th at 2:00 pm for "The Great American Trailer Park Musical". Auditions will be held at The Public Theatre, 616 Center Street. Bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided, there will be a dance audition and cold readings from the script. Directed by Mark C. Troillett and Chris Boggs.

Rehearsal Dates:
June and July

Production dates will be
July 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th at 7:30 pm
June 17th, 24th and 31st at 2:00 pm

Cast calls for 5 women and 2 men

Jeanne Garstecki- (35-45ish, F) Norbert's agoraphobic wife of 20 years, fascinated with the Ice Capades
Norbert Garstecki - (35-45ish, M) An unhappy toll collector who cheats on his neurotic wife
Pippi - (20-30ish, F) A stripper trying to escape her past
Linoleum "Lin" - (30ish, F) So named because she was born on the kitchen floor; her husband is on death row
Donna "Pickles" - (18-20ish, F) Hysterically pregnant
Duke - (24-28ish, M) Pippi's magic-marker-sniffing (ex)boyfriend
Betty - (38-50ish, F) School mate of Jeanne and Norbert. Runs the trailer park.


There's a new tenant at Armadillo Acres-and she's wreaking havoc all over Florida's most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi, the stripper on the run, comes between the Dr. Phil-loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband-the storms begin to brew.

Founded in 1956, the Community Theatre of Little Rock(CTLR) is Central Arkansas's oldest and finest theater tradition. CTLR is a nonprofit, volunteer organization striving to enlighten, educate and entertain our community by providing live theatrical productions of the highest quality, as well as providing opportunities for talented people to perform and participate in all phases of producing live theater.
