Singer and Songwriter Tyler Hilton brings his acoustic pop rock music to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip Saturday, June 2nd.

Tyler Hilton has been a songwriter and musician for most of his life.  Hailing from Palm Springs, Calif., Hilton moved to Los Angeles to launch his music career.  He released a self-titled independent CD and shortly after signed to a major record label for the release of his major-label debut The Tracks of Tyler Hilton.  In addition to a music career, Hilton made his acting debut on One Tree Hill.  Other roles followed, including a role as Elvis Presley in the critically acclaimed Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line. Hilton’s cover songs also appeared on the Grammy Award-winning Walk the Line Soundtrack.

In the fall of 2010, Tyler was set to release his second full-length album, The Storms We Share, but a shake-up with his record label prevented its release and Hilton then decided to leave his label and cut his losses, leaving the ownership of his music behind.  Hilton channeled his frustration and emotions and translated them into songs. The bulk of these songs make up his new album Forget the Storm, which Hilton released on his own label, Hooptie Tune Records.  The title of the album is a direct reference to his throwing away his last record and starting over with his own label.

Lyrically, Forget the Storm is an unflinchingly honest piece of work which is full of a spirited and engaging collection of songs that represent who he is both personally and artistically.  Fans won’t be disappointed as his strummy pop sound is aplenty as well as a couple rockabilly-flavored songs which are new to Hilton’s repertoire.
