Best known for their hit "Joy to the World," 1970s rockers Three Dog Night will perform at The Orleans Showroom on May 21 and 22.
Three Dog Night's career spans four decades and boasts 21 consecutive Top-40 hits. They have amassed three #1 singles, 11 Top 10 hits, 18 Top 20 hits, seven million-selling singles and 12 RIAA-Certified Gold LPs. The band's timeless hits have appeared on best-selling charts in pop, rock and country genres.
The group is best known for its three #1 songs, "Mama Told Me (Not to Come)," "Joy to the World" and "Black and White." The hits have been used in numerous television commercials and major motion pictures, as well as getting considerable airtime on radio stations.
Three Dog Night's popularity stands the test of time, with the 2000 release "The Best of Three Dog Night: 20th Century Masters" landing on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. In late 2009, Three Dog Night released two new songs, "Heart of Blues" and "Prayer of the Children."
