Sports fans rejoice, The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas are the resorts to visit this summer. Appearances by favorite football, basketball, and mixed martial arts athletes are scheduled throughout the month of July during an exciting lineup of events that will get fans up close and personal with their favorite athletes.

UFC International Fight Week (July 7-12)
This year, fans from around the globe will converge on the fight capital of the world, Las Vegas, for activities ranging from pool parties, to concerts, to fighter meet & greets - all culminating in the double title fight mega-card UFC 189: Aldo vs. McGregor on Saturday, July 11. At The Venetian and The Palazzo, fans can experience the UFC Fan Expo, a UFC 189 viewing party at Lagasse's Stadium with some of your favorite mixed martial artists, and more!
The UFC Fan Expo grows to a new level as it takes over the Sands Expo and Convention Center at The Venetian and The Palazzo, where it will have the largest footprint of any previous Fan Expo held in Las Vegas. In addition to amazing interactive experiences, autograph sessions and fitness challenges, the UFC Fan Expo will boast one of the largest collections of amateur combat sports tournaments held under one roof.

National Fantasy Football Convention (July 10-12)
The Venetian is home to the inaugural National Fantasy Football Convention, hosted by Tony Romo. The three-day event unites fans with football players, personalities, and brands. Alongside Romo, Odell Beckham, Jr., Rob Gronkowski, Jamaal Charles, Antonio Brown, DeMarco Murray, Eddie Lacy, Dez Bryant, and Julio Jones are a few of the athletes who are scheduled to appear. Coach Woodson Las Vegas Invitational (July 11-13)
The Coach Woodson Las Vegas Invitational, hosted by LA Clippers assistant coach Mike Woodson, celebrates the world of basketball through a golf invitational with athletes and celebrities, while benefiting the Nations of Coaches charity. As the host hotels, The Venetian and The Palazzo will be home to a number of events for the invitational weekend including a red carpet and pairings party at LAVO. Strikes For Kids (July 12)
Strikes For Kids is a nonprofit organization that partners with athletes to benefit youth organizations in communities throughout the United States. As the presenting sponsor of the Second Annual Las Vegas All-Star Bowling Classic, The Palazzo will host a red carpet featuring football stars Terrance Knighton, Sammy Watkins, Alshon Jeffery, Demarcus Ware, Duke Ihenacho, and more. Yahoo! Sports Radio Superweek (July 13-18)
For the second year in a row, the stars of the national Yahoo! Sports Radio lineup will broadcast live from Lagasse's Stadium. Hoops star Chris Paul is back this summer to host the Third Annual TopSpin Charity Ping Pong Tournament, presented by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). Sixteen athletes will go head-to-head in a ping pong tournament, testing their skills off the court. This event allows fans to get up-close-and-personal with their favorite basketball players. Stephen Curry, Rudy Gay, Isaiah Thomas, CJ Watson, Jerry Stackhouse, and P.J. Tucker are just a few of the athletes who participated in 2014.
