The Smith Center for the Performing Arts welcomes two new members to the growing team of world-class professionals who are working to gear up for the opening of the performing arts center on March 10, 2012. New staff members include Krista Darnold and Andrea Jimenez.

Krista Darnold and Andrea Jimenez will serve as co-directors for The Smith Center's corporate partnerships efforts. Darnold will be responsible for primary partnership development efforts and Jimenez will be responsible for execution and servicing of partnership programs. Darnold was most recently the director of development for an international design studio, based in Las Vegas, where she expanded the organization's core businesses and marketing efforts. Jimenez worked in marketing and advertising with a major Las Vegas gaming property for the past five years and most recently was responsible for sponsorship programs and brand management for several of the company's Las Vegas properties.

Darnold and Jimenez are currently developing partnership programs for The Smith Center, a $470 million project that will open to the public in less than eight months. Corporate and private participation in the various programs will serve as a critical component of the center's long-term success. Partnership opportunities will be available at a variety of levels to support the center's Broadway series, non-Broadway programming, individual events and more.
