Veteran performers The Osmonds--brothers Merrill, Jay and Jimmy--will return to Las Vegas at the Suncoast Showroom, October 4-5, 2014.

The brothers got their start as a barbershop group in 1958, performing around their hometown of Ogden, Utah, before moving to California and working at Disneyland. It was there that Andy Williams heard The Osmond Brothers and invited them to perform on his show. That single appearance led the young "one-take Osmonds" to seven seasons as regulars on "The Andy Williams Show."

The Osmond Brothers dropped "Brothers" from their name and signed with MGM Records in 1971. Hits like "One Bad Apple," "Yo-Yo," "Down by the Lazy River" and "Love Me For a Reason" transformed the group into world-famous teen idols, thrilling millions with their close harmonies, clean-cut image and energetic pop rock sound.

Known for their versatility and for shaping musical styles to fit their talents, the Osmonds gained further exposure with the 1976 premiere of "The Donny and Marie Show." With the Osmond brothers as executive producers, the show exposed the incredible talents of the family members, and in 1979, the show transformed into "The Osmond Family Show."

The Osmonds transitioned their sound from pop to country music in the early 1980's, producing the hits "I Think About Your Lovin'" and "It's Like Fallin' In Love (Over and Over Again)." Billboard magazine honored them with the "1982 Breakthrough Award" and acknowledged them as the "Number One New Singles Group of the Year."

In 2003, the Osmond family was honored for their achievements in the entertainment industry with a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame. They celebrated fifty years in show business in 2007 with a European tour and a PBS special, taped at Suncoast sister property, The Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Showtime each evening is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available starting from $29.95, plus tax and convenience fees. Tickets can be purchased at any Boyd Gaming Box Office, by calling 702.284.7777, or by visiting www.suncoastcasino.com.
