The Orleans Summer Comedy Series Starring Top Papa Kicks Off 5/21

The Orleans Hotel and Casino will keep audiences laughing all summer long with The Orleans Summer Comedy Series starring comedian, actor and host of NBC's The Marriage Ref Tom Papa. The comedy series begins May 21 and 22 with special guest Ben Bailey, host of Discovery Channel's Cash Cab.

For the past eight years, Tom Papa has been touring with Jerry Seinfeld, who personally selected Papa to be the host of The Marriage Ref. As a stand-up comic, Papa has recorded specials for Comedy Central and Steven Soderbergh is directing his next special due later in 2010. As an actor, Papa starred opposite Matt Damon in The Informant! and has appeared in Analyze That and Comedian. He had a voiceover role in DreamWorks' Bee Movie, and film for which he also received writing credits. Papa's voice will also be heard in the upcoming animated feature The Haunted World of El Super Beasto, as he voices the title character. On the small screen, Papa appeared in a recurring role on the CBS sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Recognized for his Daytime Emmy nominated duty as "Outstanding Game Show Host" of Cash Cab, along with hosting its spin-off Cash Cab: After Dark on the Discovery Channel, comedian and actor Ben Bailey is no stranger to the spotlight. Bailey's nearly 15 years as a stand-up comic began when was mistaken for a comic in the green room of The Comedy Store in Los Angeles where he was hired to answer the phones. He has guest starred on several television programs including ABC's Hope & Faith and a recurring role on One Life to Live, NBC's Law and Order: SVU, Fox's Mad TV and CBS's Star Search, where he was a semi-finalist. On film, Bailey had a featured role in Spiderman 2 and has appeared in several independent features including Meet Me at Rays, which he also co-wrote and directed.

The Orleans Summer Comedy Series continues on June 25-26, July 30-31 and August 27-28, with special guests joining Tom Papa to be announced.
