The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada is proud to announce the 14th Annual Honorarium, will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008, 6pm at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino.  This year’s theme, “Many Colors, One Community” reminds us that we unite to create positive change for the Southern Nevada community.

This year’s categories and honorees are: Woman of the Year, Cyntha Hall; Man of the Year, Peter O’Neill; Corporation of the Year, Findlay Auto Group; Friend of the Community, Mya Lake Reyes (LVCVA); Youth of the Year, Timmy Scott; Volunteer of the Year, Chris Saldaña; Entertainer of the Year, Pamela Anderson; Non-Profit of the Year, Matthew Sheppard Foundation; Lifetime Achievement; Randy Reinoso; Legacy Award, Kathy Gillespie; Cornerstone Award, Jon Sparer and John Klai.  Each of these honorees has distinguished themselves as community leaders through their commitment to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community by giving of their time, talents or resources during the past year.  The Lifetime Achievement, Legacy and Cornerstone Awards honor individuals who consistently give over many years.  2008 marks the 15th year that The Center has proudly served the Southern Nevada LGBT community and we are dedicating this year’s banquet to the memory of Alan Huss.
