Steve White Headlines The Improv At Harrah's LV

Special two-for-one tickets available to locals for 10:30pm show

Budd Friedman and Mark Lonow's world-famous Improv Comedy Club at Harrah's Las Vegas showcases a different marquee of acts each week. Steve White takes the stage Tuesday through Sunday, with supporting acts Tom Simmons and Jodi Borrello. Shows are at 8:30pm and 10:30pm every Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets are $29.05 (plus applicable taxes) or $44.95 (plus applicable taxes) for VIP tickets that include special seating, an Improv t-shirt and post-show meet-and-greet with the comics. Special two-for-one tickets are available for locals for the 10:30pm show. Tickets are available at Harrah's Box Office (702-369-5223) and online at www.harrahs.com.

Steve White operates with breakneck speed, his snappy, unpredictable dialogue is enough to make a morgue crackle with energy. He is a talented comedian, as well as a talented actor. His versatility has allowed him to appear in the variety of projects on his resume.

White was one of the co-hosts and writers for the Magic Hour show for FOX-TV with Earvin "Magic" Johnson. He scripted The Annoying Houseguest, a comedy feature for Martin Lawrence, and wrote, produced and directed the short film Love Anyone? He appeared with Eddie Murphy in Coming To America and Harlem Nights, and with Spike Lee in Do The Right Thing, Jungle Fever, Mo'Better Blues and Clocker's. White's previous association with Spike Lee inspired him to accompany Lee across Africa where he was Spike's "Director Trainee" on Malcolm X.

White was a regular on Comedy Central's Comics on Delivery and has appeared on HBO's Louie Anderson Showcase, Comic Cabana on Comedy Central, FOX's Comedy Strip Live, NBC's Showtime At The Apollo, MTV's Half-Hour Comedy Hour, Showtime's' Comedy Club Network, A&E's Comedy from the Caribbean and Evening At The Improv, and HBO's Def Comedy Jam. He was also a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
