Society of Seven will heat up the Suncoast Showroom with its signature aloha vibe and its versatile variety show Dec. 17-18.

The famed Hawaiian-based group's energetic performance combines comedy sketches, celebrity impersonations and dance, as well as live musical performances that feature Top-40 hits, Broadway tunes and more. Society of Seven has been entertaining fans for more than 40 years.

Formed in the 1960's as The Fabulous Echoes, the group found initial success in Asia. The group's rendition of "A Little Bit of Soap" went #1 on the Hong Kong charts and stayed there for an unprecedented 32 weeks. While performing in Hawaii in 1968, the group was renamed Society of Seven and was later named the "Best Show in Waikiki" by readers of Honolulu Magazine.

In 2007, the group received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts.

Showtime is at 8:30 p.m. each night. Tickets start at $38 plus taxes and fees, and can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000, online at www.suncoastcasino.com, or in-person at gift shops inside The Orleans, Suncoast, Gold Coast and Sam's Town.
