Viva Las Vegas! Rockabilly Weekend is back at The Orleans Hotel and Casino marking its 13th year as a prominent Las Vegas event. The four-day event-filled weekend begins Thursday, April 1 and continues through Monday, April 5.
Organized by veteran promoter and Rockabilly DJ Tom Ingram, Viva Las Vegas (VLV) is an annual event that has been held in Las Vegas every spring since 1998. It is the largest event of its type in the world, and features bands and fans from all over the globe who come to experience Rockabilly, ‘50s music, the Classic Car Show, burlesque performers, dance lessons and contests, a Tiki Pool Party and more than 120 vendors.
This year, legendary musician
Chuck Berry will perform on the Car Show stage at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 3 and later that same evening, "The First Lady of Rockabilly" Wanda Jackson will perform in the main ballroom at 11 p.m.
More than 50 bands and 15 DJs will perform nightly. Saturday's Classic Car Show has historically been the most attended event during the weekend, with more than 20,000 people in attendance during previous years.
Vendors are open daily offering a multitude of Rockabilly items such as vintage and reproduction clothing, event merchandise, records, car accessories, bags, hair pomade, shoes and much more.
Four-day unlimited admission passes to Viva Las Vegas! Rockabilly Weekend are available now and are $89 per person if purchased prior to March 12 and $99 if purchased after March 12.
