The dynamic trio, Poperazzi, will perform a delicate musical mix of opera with a modern twist in Viva Italia at the Suncoast Showroom, April 30 and May 1, each evening at 7:30 p.m.

From rock to opera, classic Sinatra to The Rolling Stones, and Pavarotti to Jersey Boys, Poperazzi's musical productions showcase hundreds of years of musical tradition in a fresh and contemporary format. Drawing on Poperazzi's Italian roots, Viva Italia explores the music of Italy through art, opera, symphonic literature, and songs popularized by Italian-Americans. Conducted and co-produced by Michael Krajewski, Principal Pops Conductor of the Houston and Atlanta Symphony Orchestras, the lively production has delighted audiences across North America.

Created in 2009 by founder and tenor, George DeMott, Poperazzi is comprised of three talented and classically trained singers. DeMott has performed several classic tenor roles and has recorded two self-produced albums including Serenade and Two for My Baby. Fellow tenor and Las Vegas native, Cody Shawn Gay has a diverse range of skills and has played several title roles in Jekyll and Hyde and The Phantom of the Opera. Soprano Janien Valentine, began singing professionally at age 16 and has never looked back starring in acclaimed musicals such as NotreDame De Paris; Men are From Mars, Women Are From Venus and Carmen, a Franco Dragone production. She was named "Best Female Singer" and "Thespian" by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Together they have inspired audiences across the United States and Canada through Viva Italia and its performances with Symphony Pops Orchestras at major events such as Atlanta's 2010 New Years Eve Celebration. They have also been featured live in a PBS broadcast from Madison, Wisconsin.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available starting from $15.95, plus tax and convenience fees and can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 702.636.7075 or visiting www.suncoastcasino.com. Save on convenience fees by purchasing the tickets in person at Coast Casinos.
