Funny man and stand-up comedian Paul Rodriguez will perform inside the Lance Burton Theatre at Monte Carlo September 9 - 12 at 9 p.m. nightly.
Paul Rodriguez' career has spanned more than two decades and includes starring roles and featured appearances in more than 30 films and countless television series and specials. His first big break came while performing comedy warm-up routines for Norman Lear's show "Gloria," when Lear wrote and developed a series for Rodriguez. He went on to star in two other series, "Trial and Error" and "Grand Slam," and hosted "El Show de Paul Rodriguez," an entertainment talk show for the Univision Network from 1990 - 1994. Rodriguez' directing debut came in 1994 with the film "A Million To Juan," a family comedy which he also starred in and wrote.
Rodriguez has guest starred in several episodes of Showtime's original series "Resurrection Boulevard," as well as six comedy specials for HBO including "Loco Slam," "Live In San Quentin," and the most recent "Idiots and Armadillos" which he also wrote. He also served as host for The Alma Awards and The Latino Laugh Festival.
