The Smith Center for the Performing Arts announces the highly anticipated lineup of performances for the 2014-2015 Broadway Las Vegas Series. Running August 2014 to May 2015, the upcoming season sponsored by Southern Nevada Ford Stores will boast Broadway favorites, three first national tours and exciting Las Vegas premieres. As a testament to The Smith Center's commitment to bringing top-tier productions and first-run shows, the center is excited to launch its first-ever national tour with the previously announced, Tony Award-winning musical KINKY BOOTS.
The eight-part series features a variety of Tony Award-winning productions and celebrated new shows in addition to KINKY BOOTS including GHOST, PIPPIN, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, NEWSIES, RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'SCINDERELLA and ANNIE. Additionally, patrons will have the opportunity to supplement the season with a special add-on of WICKED. Broadway's biggest blockbuster will return to The Smith Center for a four-week run after a sold-out engagement in Reynolds Hall in 2012.
Tickets for the upcoming Broadway Las Vegas series will first be made available for renewal to current season subscribers beginning March 3.
