Meeting popular demand, PANDA!, the first-ever Chinese produced show to take up a Las Vegas residency, has extended its window for ticket sales at The Palazzo Las Vegas through July 2014. Hailed as "one of Las Vegas' best new productions" and a "jaw-dropping spectacle" (Sunseeker), PANDA! is produced by a team whose impressive credits include the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Tickets for the new performance dates are now on sale.
"We've had an incredible amount of support, which has been humbling," said director An Zhao. "PANDA! is an authentically Chinese production and I'm proud to showcase the talent of our incredible performers."
Combining high-flying acrobatics, mystifying martial arts, music, and dance, PANDA! features a talented cast of world-class performers from China National Acrobatics Troupe, Shaolin Monastery Kung Fu Monks Troupe, and China Star Dance Troupe.
Featured on the national television show, The Talk (CBS), and seen in USA Today and DuJour Magazine, PANDA! has quickly become a Las Vegas favorite with its visually-stunning effects and breathtaking performance feats.
"PANDA! is world-class entertainment and our guests couldn't be happier with the entertainment experience," said John Caparella, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian, and The Palazzo, and Sands Expo. "We're proud to have it on our roster, which features the best entertainment options that can be offered."
From executive producer Xu Zhong Min, producer Hui Wang, and director An Zhao, PANDA! was welcomed in January with proclamations from several politicians, including Sen. Dean Heller, Sen. Harry Reid, and Rep. Dina Titus.
Until April 6, 2014, PANDA! performs Tuesday through Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Beginning April 7, 2014, PANDA! will perform Friday through Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. For up-to-date schedule information, including dark dates, or to purchase tickets ($68 - $158) visit any Box Office at The Venetian and The Palazzo, or go online to www.venetian.com, or call 702.414.9000.
