The Marshall Tucker Band's music has been featured on the soundtracks of movies such as Smokey and the Bandit, The Pursuit of D.B. Cooper, Shipwrecked, Crank 2, Don't Mess with Zohan, Stop Loss, Swing Vote and Taking Chance as well as many television shows.

The band's current dynamic members include slide guitarist Stuart Swanlund; Pat Elwood on bass guitar; drummer and former member of Mother's Finest and The Outlaws, B.B. Borden; multi instrumentalist Marcus Henderson who plays flute, saxophone and keyboards in addition to lead and background vocals; and Rick Willis on lead guitar and vocals.  Together they present a powerful stage presence as they carrying on the timeless essence of The Marshall Tucker Band.
