Nominations Now Open For 2011 BWW Las Vegas Awards!

The inaugural BWW Best of Las Vegas Awards brought on spirited competition and a great deal of interest. Now, the nominations for the 2011 awards are open.

The first step is to nominate your favorite candidates. Just fill in the nomination form. Any show/performer that ran from September, 2010 through October 2011 is eligible.

Nominations close October 31. The final nominees will then be announced and voting for the winners will begin.

Best Band: Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns

Best Book Musical: Jersey Boys

Best Choreography in a Strip Show: SergioTrujillo, Jersey Boys

Best Comedy Club: IMPROV at Harrah's

Best Concert (Short Run): Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons

Best Concert Venue: MGM Grand Garden Arena

Best DJ: DJ AM

Best Female Comedian: Kathy Griffin

Best Free Attraction: Bellagio Fountains

Best Hotel Architecture (Non-Theme): The Palazzo

Best Impersonator: (tie): Frank Marino, Larry Edwards

Best Local Show: Rick Faugno's "Songs My Idols Sang (And Danced)

Best Male Comedian: (tie): Matt Donnelly, Wayne Brady

Best Museum or Attraction: Bellagio Fountains

Best Nightclub: Tao

Best Off-Strip Performance in a Play: Rick Faugno, "Songs My Idols Sang and (Danced)"

Best performance by a featured actor in a musical: Andrew Ragone, Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular

Best performance by a featured actress in a musical: Lauren Tartaglia, Jersey Boys

Best performance by a lead actor in a musical: Rick Faugno, Jersey Boys

Best performance by a lead actress in a musical: Kristi Holden, Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular

Best Performer in a Resident Show: Donny and Marie

Best Resident Show: Cher

Best Spectacle Show: Beatles' LOVE

Best Theater of the Year: Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular Theatre at the Venetian
