An exciting lineup of entertainers and speakers will add to the free festivities at Nevada Recovery Celebration on Saturday, September 12 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Cashman Center Las Vegas, 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North. The public is invited to attend, including Nevadans overcoming alcoholism and addictions, and their families. Attendees must be clean and sober to participate. Entrance to the event is free; parking is $3.

Held in recognition of Nevadans' recovery from alcoholism and addictions, Nevada Recovery Celebration will feature workshops and panel discussions, 12-Step-based marathon meetings, human service and recovery booths, plus take-home information on addiction problems and solutions. Workshop and panel topics will include: crystal meth, cocaine and heroine abuse; domestic violence and substance abuse; prescription pill addiction; human trafficking; problem gambling and special recovery sessions geared toward Native Americans, Latinos, women, men and the LGBT community. The event will also provide excellent networking opportunities for professionals in the recovery and addiction fields. Children under age 16 must have adult supervision; childcare will not be available at the celebration.
