MGM Resorts Announce St. Patrick's Day Events

MGM MIRAGE resorts are celebrating St. Patrick's Day with festivities that are sure to paint The Strip green. Events featuring live music, drink specials and exciting nightlife offer a variety of options for guests to shake their shamrocks all night long.

NEW YORK-NEW YORK

Celtic Feis returns to New York-New York featuring a full day of Irish entertainment, music and of course, beer. The party kicks off at 11:30 a.m. with live music at Nine Fine Irishmen and the Brooklyn Bridge featuring Irish favorites Mike Bowman, Frank Joseph, The Limey Barstewards, Ri-Ra and Celtic Rockers. Guests also may enjoy Red Bull, Jameson whiskey and Absolute vodka drink specials throughout the day. Tickets to Celtic Feis start at $25 and include admission to the day's events and one free drink. For $35, guests also receive a special St, Patrick's Day T-shirt. Tickets may be purchased in person at the Zumanity Box Office or in advance by phone at (866) 606-7111.

The party continues all week with special live entertainment, drink specials and festivities Thursday through Sunday. During the day, catch March Madness basketball fever inside Nine Fine Irishmen then rock out with live music from Ri Ra after the games each night. Guests also can dance outside to the beat of Mike Bowman on the Nine Fine Irishmen patio Thursday through Sunday from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. followed by live DJ entertainment from the NFI balcony from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. nightly.

Special for Saturday only, sample tasty grilled cheeseburgers, hot dogs and chicken sandwiches at The Brooklyn Bridge BBQ. After filling your belly, dance the day and night away to the DJ spinning top hits from 2 p.m. - 1 a.m.

MANDALAY BAY

Spend St. Patrick's Day rocking to the beat of live Irish bands and enjoying food and beverage specials at Mandalay Bay. The resort-wide party kicks off at Mizuya as
The Wild Celts take the stage from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. then continues with The Chancy Bros from 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Rattle and Humm from 10 p.m. - 2 a.m. Guests also can catch the beat of Irish Affair appearing live at Orchid Lounge from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

In between sets, head over to Raffles Café to sample a special menu of corned beef temptations or check out drink specials like $3 Guinness beer, $2 Jameson whiskey shots and $2 Bud Light at participating locations including Mizyua, Orchid Lounge, eyecandy, Hussong's Cantina and House of Blues.

MONTE CARLO

This year guests are invited to "Drink until Someone Looks Pretty" at The Pub at Monte Carlo. Killian's Angels start the party with rocking Irish beats from
6 p.m. - 9 p.m. then guests can dance the night away when DJ Albert spins the hottest Irish hits from 9 p.m. - midnight. Daring drink specials include $8 Jameson whiskey cocktails, $5 Guinness beer, $5 Irish Car Bombs and $2 green JELL-O shots and after a few rounds of liquid courage, guests may even find themselves competing for $500 in the party's Irish Jig Contest.
