Michel Legrand

Three-time Oscar and five-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Michel Legrand will perform a tribute to his 50 years of music and movies at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, March 27. Legrand will conduct a 66-piece orchestra and perform with many of his superstar friends including Quincy Jones, Roberta Flack, Dionne Warwick, Steve Lawrence, Melissa Manchester, Neil Sedaka, Jerry Lewis, Andy Williams, George Benson and Patti Page. The event will pay musical tribute to Legrand's Academy Award-winning MGM movies including "Yentl," "Thomas Crown Affair" and "Summer of 42." The superstar extravaganza also will be captured on film for a made-for-TV-special to air at a later date.

MGM Grand's Crazy Horse Paris is pleased to announce the return of burlesque artist and fashion icon Dita Von Teese to the famed Las Vegas cabaret stage after a sold-out engagement in April 2007. The first guest star in the history of the famous cabaret, Von Teese will feature new performance numbers that she developed especially for the Crazy Horse stage for her sold-out performances in Paris in early 2009. CENTRIFUGE

MGM Grand offers guests a chance to be the center of attention with the opening at Centrifuge, the 77-seat bar featuring live entertainment and an innovative drink menu. The bar comes alive nightly from 4 p.m. until dawn, with a progressive music program and numerous freestyle and choreographed dance numbers.


Centrifuge features specialty cocktails from each of MGM Grand's signature restaurants, infuses them with fruit and displays the innovative drinks around the bar in Louise Treize baccarat crystal bottles. The Beatles REVOLUTION Lounge will have everyone coming out to dance with Closet Sundays, the most fabulous night on The Strip. The party, "for boys who like boys and their girlfriends," will bring groundbreaking live performances, edgy fashion shows with fresh style and so much more to the ultra-lounge while partygoers are treated to beats provided by Light Group resident DJs. B.B. King'S BLUES CLUB

"The Thrill is Gone" no longer as the King of Blues brings his popular restaurant, bar and nightlife venue to Las Vegas. B.B. King's Blues Club offers music seven nights a week from funky and fast to soulful and smooth. As the night progresses, so will the tunes as guests turn to the dance floor to dance the night away. The house bands surpass the standard of what many know to be a house band, and friends of the King are likely to stop by at any time to join them and jam the night away. SIEGFRIED & ROY'S SECRET GARDEN & DOLPHIN HABITAT


The Mirage is home to Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat and is distinguished from all other hotels in the world by its animal habitats, built both for educational programs and public enjoyment. The Secret Garden is home to five rare animal breeds, including the White Lions of Timbavati and Siegfried & Roy's RoyAl White Tigers of Nevada. The most recent addition to the Secret Garden family is a male leopard, Java, born in November 2008. Through the Secret Garden, Siegfried and Roy seek to increase public awareness of the plight of all endangered animals and to foster dialogue about the world's rarest breeds.


The Dolphin Habitat serves as the home for a family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. This embattled species dwells in the finest surroundings incorporating the latest in research technology. Although guests enjoy watching the mammals as they frolic in the water, the facility's primary purpose is for educational programs. A complete curriculum has been prepared with the Clark County School District to educate elementary through senior high school students on the wonder of marine mammals.

The impressions come fast and the laughter even faster now that comedian/impressionist Frank Caliendo is a permanent headliner on the Las Vegas Strip with his show at Monte Carlo. Caliendo and Monte Carlo have signed an exclusive 10-year agreement that makes Caliendo a hilarious fixture at the resort for the next decade.
