Hard rock bands Skid Row and KIX will bring their biggest hits to Cannery Casino Hotel's The Club on Saturday, May 13.
Known for their musical rebellion and high-energy sound, Skid Row hit the heavy metal scene in 1986 and enjoyed major success after releasing their first certified multi-Platinum album "Skid Row." The album included Top-40 hits "I Remember You" and "18 and Life." The band's second album, "Slave to the Grind," included the hit single "Monkey Business" and reached #1 on the Billboard charts. In 2013 and 2014, Skid Row released the first and second chapters of its "United World Rebellion" albums and are currently working on the third and final chapter of the collection. The band's lineup includes Rachel Bolan, Snake Sabo, Scotti Hill, Rob Hammersmith and ZP Theart.
Since 1978, KIX gained popularity through their exciting live performances and hard rock songs like "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah." The band released its most famous album "Blow My Fuse" in 1988, which featured chart-topping hits "Don't Close Your Eyes" and "Cold Blood." In 2014, the group released "Rock Your Face Off," their first album released in nearly 20 years. KIX also released their documentary "Can't Stop the Show: The Return of KIX" last year. The current lineup includes Steve Whiteman, Jimmy Chalfant, Ronnie Younkins, Brian Forsythe and Mark Schenker.
