Latin Recording Academy to Present 2nd Annual EN LA MEZCLA Event in Las Vegas

"En La Mezcla," an invitation-only, cocktail reception honoring this year's nominees in the field of producing and engineering will officially kick-off Latin GRAMMY Week and is hosted by The Producers and Engineers Wing of The Recording Academy in conjunction with The Latin Recording Academy, on November 18, 2014 at the Studio at the Palms, Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Multiple GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY-winning producers Benny Faccone, Gustavo Santaoalla and Rafa Sardina, international DJ Mr. Pauer, and the Sr. Director of The Producers & Engineers Wing, Maureen Droney. President/CEO of The Latin Recording Academy Gabriel Abaroa, current Latin GRAMMY producer and engineer nominees and key members of the P&E community will be in attendance.

The second co-hosted event between The Latin Recording Academy and The Producers & Engineers Wing will celebrate the diverse group of Spanish, English and Portuguese speaking individuals working "behind the glass" to create some of the most memorable recordings in the history of music as well as acknowledge current Latin GRAMMY Award producers and engineers nominated within their respective categories.

The Latin Recording Academy is an international, membership-based organization comprised of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking recording artists, musicians, songwriters, producers and other creative and technical recording professionals. The organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life and cultural condition for Latin music and its makers. In addition to producing the Latin GRAMMY Awards to honor excellence in the recorded arts and sciences, The Latin Recording Academy provides educational and outreach programs for the Latin music community.
