January is National Blood Donor Month and the cast of Evil Dead: The Musical at V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino invite the public to donate during an event on Friday, Jan. 23. United Blood Services will have donor-equipped vans at Cosmic Comics, located at 3830 E. Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89121, from 3 - 7 p.m. All donors will receive a free pair of tickets to Evil Dead: The Musical and a comic book from MaximuM Comics.

"This is the 3rd year we are hosting a blood drive during National Blood Donor Month," said Sirc Michaels, the show's producer. "We used about 20 gallons of fake blood at every show, and just a little bit of the real thing goes a long way to making a change in the community. Existing blood supplies are practically depleted during the holidays, so it is even more important to donate blood at this time of year. Our entire team understands that the blood that is donated could be used to help a loved one. We encourage our fans to come out and make this a success by showing their support."

Appointments are available beginning at 3 p.m. and can be made by visiting: https://www.bloodhero.com/index.cfm?group=op&step=2&opid=635518
